Unbelievable Kansas weather!!

We drove through an intense rain & hail storm! Coming down in sheets with pea sized hail. Severe storm and tornado warnings to the north and west of us. As the rain let up we were treated to an amazing lightning show. Multiple strikes in a row that lasted long enough for the kids to get a good look. Welcome to Kansas and day 1 of the great adventure!

    Now you know why we live in the mountains and not Kansas. Wait till day 2 when you get to see all of Kansas!
